The State Historical Museum of Moscow has one of the world’s largest collections of ancient coins from the Northern Black Sea coast. This book presents for the first time in a single publication all 4,270 coins in the Museum’s collection from Tyras, Olbia, Kerkinitis, and the Tauric Chersonesos. It begins a catalogue of the coin collection according to the system of the Sylloge Nummorum Graecorum.
